About G.L. Thompson Association Management
G.L. Thompson Association Management is family-owned Business that handles communities within St. Augustine Beach, Palm Coast, Flagler Beach and Ormond Beach. Since our company opened its doors in 2012, with over 30 years experience. We’ve treated every customer as if they were a part of our family. Other companies may offer similar services, but our Firm prefers a more interpersonal connection to better understand your communities' needs. Success starts when a team comes together, and we look to working with your association.

As founder and principal of G.L. Thompson Association Management. He also brings over thirty years of experience in leadership and association management to the firm. Prior to forming GLT Management, Gary served as property manager for local Palm Coast, St. Augustine, Flagler Beach and Ormond Beach real estate company providing property management services to single family home rentals. He has previous experience with property management in low income housing, and acting as a CAM (Community Association Management), property manager, for several condominium communities in the area. 

He is also a member of Flagler Chamber of Commerce, with several social media connections to increase his outreach. He holds a Florida License as a Community Association Manager and Management Firm as well as Masters Certificate in Business Management, with studies that include; Conflict, Employment, Team, Leadership, Organizational, Analytical, Communications, Financial, Operations, Marketing and Supervisory Management. Additional  diploma in Business and Legal Studies.

Mr. Bill William, Maintenance Supervisor, with over 30 years experience in the field. 
He recently started working with G.L. Thompson Association Management.

As Maintenance Supervisor, he perform on-site visits/inspections as required.

  • Organize and establish a liaison for repair work on common areas as directed by the Board of Directors.
  • Collect bids for common area maintenance and major maintenance projects.
  • Collect and review all maintenance proposals by outside vendors and make recommendations to the Board. Major work will require three bids.
  • Collaborate with consultants and engineers hired by the association.
  • Schedule and oversee any on-site maintenance jobs.
  • Recruit, hire, and train all Association personnel as directed by the Board of Directors.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly preventative maintenance schedules if requested from the Board.
  • Supervise all on-site personnel.
  • Prepare on-site personnel job descriptions.
  • Maintain common areas in accordance to the standards of the Board of Directors.
  • Negotiate and retain contracts and services, including utilities, building services, auditing, fire equipment, and any other contract services.
  • Assist in processing insurance claims for the Association.

Mr. Gary Thompson was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; he then resided in North Carolina for roughly fifteen years, and now currently lives in Palm Coast, Florida, where he calls home.
